Carrie-Anne Moss

CarrieCarrie-Anne Moss, born August 21, 1967 [1], is a Canadian actress from Canada. In the early days of her television career, she became famous for her role in The Matrix series (1999 to the present). Memento (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Supporting Role, Red Planet (2000), Chocolat (2000) and Fido (2006). Snow Cake (2006) received the Genie Award as Best Performance by an Actress in an Supporting Role. Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) were among her television roles. Moss was living in Spain when she was approached for the role as Tara, Judge Nicholas Marshall's clerk, in the drama series Dark Justice. This was her first time on TV. In the course of the show, she relocated from Barcelona to Los Angeles in 1992. Moss was forced to leave Dark Justice after the third and last season. Elisa Heinsohn replaced her as Samantha "Sam". She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena after her return and she subsequently starred in the soap opera on primetime at Fox Models Inc., a spin-off of Melrose Place, as a model. The series was canceled on July 15, 1995. Matrix was a short-lived made in Canada series. She was a regular guest on TV series, including Street Justice, Baywatch and F/X: The Series. Three years later, she received the Gemini Award nomination for Best Guest actor in Drama. The majority of her roles in films in the decade were in B movies, including Flashfire (1994), The Soft Kill (1994), Tough Guy (1994), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (1996) and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
