Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for over 40 years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Louise began with her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While students at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic in contrast to the glamorous image that she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's earned a reputation for herself as a director of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her early years. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever for the last ten years.
