Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American writer of cook books for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina began her writing career by creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets for the White House. While she initially found the work fascinating, eventually she stopped her interest. Then she bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. It took her nearly 18 years to turn the store into hugely successful, and then closed the business. Then she began writing one of her cookbooks. A number of different cookbooks and magazines came later. A different hit came from the Food Network Television show. She also sells a range of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina has never been to any cookery school or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. Her name is known for her effortless way of entertaining and easy cooking. Her best-known recipes include Skillet Lemon Chicken roasted by Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac and Cheese.
