Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most famous movies. She grew up in an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. The first two films she made got noticed and earned her recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the globe after just three movies. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
